We know that scaling a bluff isn’t for everyone. On the contrary, many people prefer paved, accessible trails to better suit their needs. So, check out a list of paved trails below.
Park in the Lower Quarry. Two short, accessible trails bring you to overlooks of the MIssissippi River, Barn Bluff, and Lake Pepin.
While all of these loops are accessible, we recommend Levee Park, Bay Point Park, or Colvill Park if you’re looking for an easy loop.
The entire stretch connecting Red Wing and Cannon Falls is completely paved and relatively flat. Take a stroll through beautiful Goodhue County and learn why we live in one of the most beautiful parts of the state.
Four miles of paved trails connect Red Wing to Hay Creek on the northern part of the trail. Likewise, about five miles of paved trails stretch from Zumbrota and head north towards Red Wing.

Nearly all of these routes are paved, but some areas like Downtown, are particularly accessible. If the map lists a dotted portion of a trail, it isn’t paved.
